梵高， 愛畫畫， 愛得如此瘋，是悲哀的。
他的人生最幸運，不是遇上 (高更 Gauguin 這位朋友), 而是有一位如此愛他的弟弟。
導演把這齣電影拍得很優美， 很配合這位藝術家的風格與色彩。
男演員 Willem Dafoe 演出水準之上。
今年 Oscar 角逐最佳男主角落下，唯有說對手太強勁，波希米亞 狂想曲：搖滾傳說》（Bohemian Rhapsody 的 Rami Said Malek 我自己也超喜歡的。
